Using Luke 2:40 as our guide, Kings Christian School aims to help children develop physically, spiritually, and mentally. With a combined focus on academic growth and social development, Pre-Kindergarten at Kings Christian School lays a solid foundation for children to succeed as they grow. Biblical principles and the love of Christ are incorporated into every aspect of the classroom through both curriculum and example.

Pre-Kindergarten classrooms cap at 24 students per class with an 8:1 student to teacher ratio. Using A Beka Curriculum, Pre-K classes meet in the morning as a group to focus on letter recognition, number recognition, writing in manuscript form, beginning phonics, beginning math concepts, and counting. In the afternoon students are divided into smaller groups where teachers are able to provide more individualized instruction to each student.

Half Day, Full Day, and Extended Day options are available for the PreK program and are available on a first come first serve basis. 

​

PreK classes begin at 8:30 AM

Half Day dismisses at 12:00 PM

Full Day dismisses at 3:15 PM

Extended Day Care is open from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM

​

Pre-K Requirements:

- PreK 3 students must be 3 by September 1st of the current calendar year.

- PreK 4 students must be 4 by September 1st of the current calendar year.

- Students must be fully potty-trained.

- Full time students must bring a lunch every day.
